Y. A. C. S (Young Adult Christian Service) Rationale: The Baptist Church seems to unable to attract and maintain activism in the Church among the Young adult population. Upon reaching a certain age (18-40) many young adults leave the church; thereby creating a great need in the church for their physical and intellectual agility, as well as a spiritual spontaneity that is often apparent in that age group. One of the best ways to get young adults involved in the church is to get them involved in the ongoing ministries of the Church. Purpose or Function: To Reach Young Adults Teach Young Adults Involve Young Adults Stated Goal: To Learn and Study God's Holy Word so that we may learn what he truly requires of us; Then follow faithfully his word so that we live our lives according to his word; Then when all those things are done, we may be able to do great works thought Christ who strengthens us so that it may be acceptable to Him. If we are not living our lives according to his will, then anything we do in his name will all be in vain. Our Mission: To Offer Salvation: Luke Chapter 19 verse 10 "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." For More information about the Yacs, please click
